Privacy Policy

01Scope

This privacy policy explains how Aashray Unit ("we", "us", "our") handles information in the mobile applications we publish for Android and iOS. It applies to all of our applications, including any we publish in future, unless an application states otherwise.

Our applications do different things, so not every practice described here applies to every application. This policy describes the full range of what our applications may collect and why. Where an application collects less than is described here — and many of ours collect very little — only what that application actually collects applies to you. An application never collects more than what is described in this policy.

By installing or using any of our applications you agree to the practices described here. If you do not agree, please stop using the application and uninstall it.

02Information We Collect

Depending on which application you use and which features you choose to use, we may collect:

We do not ask for, and you should never send us, information that is not listed above.

03Device Permissions

Our applications request only the permissions that the features you use actually need:

• Camera — only when you choose to take a photo inside the application.
• Photos & media / Storage — to let you pick images and to save what you create to your gallery.
• Location — only where distance is part of a feature, and only if you allow it.
• Microphone — only where voice input is offered, and only while you are using it.
• Notifications — to tell you about new content or activity. Always optional.
• Internet — to load content, sync your account where one exists, and serve advertisements.

Permissions are requested at the moment the related feature is first used, never in bulk at install time. You can withdraw any permission later in your device settings. Declining one disables only the feature that needs it — the rest of the application keeps working.

04How We Use Information

Information collected through our applications is used only to:

• Provide the features you ask for and keep them working correctly;
• Create and secure your account, where an application offers one, and restore your content when you sign in again;
• Diagnose crashes, fix bugs and improve performance;
• Serve and measure advertisements in our ad-supported applications;
• Detect and prevent fraud, abuse and violations of our terms;
• Respond to you when you contact us for support;
• Comply with legal obligations that apply to us.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not share it with data brokers.

05Advertising

Some of our applications are free and supported by advertising delivered through Google AdMob. To serve and measure those advertisements, AdMob may access your device's advertising identifier and limited technical information about your device. Advertisements may be personalised based on that identifier.

You are in control of this:

• Android — Settings → Google → Ads, where you can delete or reset your advertising ID and opt out of personalised advertising.
• iOS — Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking, where you can refuse app tracking requests entirely.

Opting out does not remove advertisements; it makes them less relevant. Google's handling of this data is described in its partner policy.

06Third-Party Services

Our applications rely on the following third-party services, which may receive limited information in order to function. Each handles that information under its own privacy policy:

• Google Firebase — authentication, storage, analytics and crash reporting — privacy policy
• Google AdMob — advertising — privacy policy
• Google Play Services & Play Billing — core platform services and purchases — privacy policy

Not every application uses all of these. Each application uses only the services its own features require. We do not control these providers and are not responsible for their practices.

07Sharing and Disclosure

We disclose information only in these situations:

• Service providers — the third parties named above, strictly so the application can function;
• Other users — where an application includes public profiles or messaging, the content you choose to publish is visible to other members of that application. Please do not publish your home address, financial details or government identification numbers;
• Legal requirement — where we are compelled by law, court order or a valid government request;
• Safety — where disclosure is necessary to prevent harm, fraud or an active security threat;
• Business transfer — if an application changes ownership, in which case we will notify you before your information becomes subject to a different policy.

08Retention and Deletion

In applications that do not create an account, the content you make stays on your device. Uninstalling the application removes it, and we hold nothing to delete.

In applications with accounts, we keep your information for as long as your account is active. You may delete your account from inside the application, or by emailing aashrayunit@gmail.com from the address registered to it. Once deleted, we remove your personal information from our live systems within 30 days, and backup copies are overwritten on their normal rotation within the same period. We may retain a minimal record where we are legally required to, or where it is needed to resolve a dispute or enforce our terms.

Where an application allows you to report another user, we retain the reported content for up to 12 months so that we can investigate and act on repeat offenders, even if an account is deleted in the meantime.

Diagnostic and advertising data held by the third-party services listed above is retained according to their own policies, not ours.

09Security

Information in transit is protected with industry-standard encryption (HTTPS/TLS), and stored data is held in access-restricted systems. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, so while we take reasonable steps to protect your information we cannot guarantee absolute security. If we become aware of a breach affecting your personal information, we will notify you and the relevant authorities as required by law.

10Children's Privacy

Most of our applications are suitable for general audiences and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Some of our applications are restricted to users aged 18 and over; those state so clearly in their store listing and within the application, and we delete any account we find to belong to a minor.

If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal information, contact us at aashrayunit@gmail.com and we will delete it promptly.

11Your Rights and Choices

Depending on where you live, you may have the right to:

• Ask what personal information we hold about you, and request a copy;
• Ask us to correct information that is wrong or out of date;
• Ask us to delete your information, or delete your account yourself inside the application;
• Withdraw any device permission at any time in your device settings;
• Reset or limit your advertising identifier in your device settings;
• Object to, or ask us to restrict, certain processing.

To exercise any of these, email aashrayunit@gmail.com and tell us which application you are asking about. We respond within 30 days. We will not charge you or degrade the application for making a request.

12International Transfers

We are based in India. The third-party services we rely on operate globally, so information may be processed on servers outside your country, including in the United States. Those providers operate under their own safeguards for such transfers, described in the policies linked above.

13Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when our applications change or when the law requires it. The effective date at the top of this page always reflects the current version. If a change materially affects how we handle your information, we will give notice inside the affected application before it takes effect. Continuing to use the application after that means you accept the updated policy.
